10. It will take a miracle to turn things around.

Of course the US has enjoyed a number of miracles to save its ass.

George Washington lead a rag tag group of colony farmers against one of the greatest
military forces in existence at the time. And won.

Lincoln won the Civil War.
And FDR and Churchill with the help of Eisenhower and the US military won WWII.

As you know, I am not optimistic about current events today.
But I do have to point out the US has been in the crapper before and pulled out.

But this time seems rather hopeless doesn't it?
