I just sent a nasty e-mail to my congresscritter (Ben Cline, R VA-06) [View all]

Reason being that a self-serving e-mail from him just crossed my desk, patting himself on the back for "holding the line" against the nasty Democrats and blaming us for the shutdown because we wanted to extend healthcare to illegal immigrants blah-blah-blah. He also announced that he was going to hold a town hall in (ruby red) Lexington.

I pointed out that it was him and his buddies knowtowing to the orange infant in the White House (yes, I said that) and cutting healthcare from millions of needy Americans while blaming it on "illegal immigrants" and refusing to negotiate that caused the shutdown, and not Democrats. Also I asked him why he refused to hold a town hall in Harriosnburg, Roanoke, or Winchester (all of which are blue dots in his red district)---was he afraid of being asked pointed questions, being heckled, or possibly hearing a few boos? I dared him to announce a town hall in Harrisonburg and actually show up.

I don't think he will. He's a coward, through and through. I'd be willing to bet he won't even answer my e-mail.
