His staff must LOVE reading his emails and answering his phone!!! I have contacted "Rob" twice in less than a month over two other issues and used much the same tone you did. Each time I got a pandering reply that assumed that I was really, really stupid and watched Fox News a lot.
Many of my friends have also contacted his office, and now we share his replies. Those who call challenge his staff. My favorite response came when we challenged his no vote on the international treaty for the disabled. "Rob" voted no because our first priority needed to be job creation! My friend responded, "And it would have taken more time to vote yes than no???" The staff member then stammered a lot.
Time to check in again on the Sandy vote! Do love the folksy website ...
