Or so goes the justification for implementing an internet sales tax.

It's closer to the truth that people are feeling financially pinched and naturally gravitating to the places where they can save money. That includes big box stores, Dollar Generals, and online.

An internet sales tax is not going to help Main Street; getting people back into work with decent pay will.
