(1,014 posts)81. Yes, I just have freakishly low baseline bp, and tend to get a little squirrelly
when I see that blood bag and my blood going up that tube. Yeah, I'm a nurse and my friends and coworkers laugh me into next week about it, but I swear I can stick anybody else all day long, just DON'T STICK ME. Every single time, between my low bp (baseline is 90/60) and my getting grossed out at the sight of my blood in a bag and the needle (I try to look away....), it just doesn't work out. I decided that it was time to stop torturing the poor Red Cross folk after the last time (which was right after 9/11).
