We absolutely need a huge groundswell here at DU, esp. displayed prominently in GD!
My state is very pro-choice and our Senators and Congresspersons are all pro-choice Dems, so we have a lessened sense of imminent danger but that is a false sense of security, IMO. We have to be aware of the NATIONAL implications of what is being done in NC, TX and WI.
I do think Wendy Davis is a game changer and I hope her bravery will serve as an encouragement to other women (and men) to step up and take dramatic, courageous stands for reproductive rights, wherever the threat appears. It is absolutely crucial.

The problem is that Republican women, in particular, feel that they are exceptions.
