unless they are sure that others are suffering and they are not. This confirms their conviction that they are better and deserving - and chosen by God. Their obsession is not their love of God but the unfairness of those less worthy having a slice of the pie - resentment.
Fear can be a wild emotion and they have controlled theirs with hate.
