1. So when the Fox jumps on the bandwagon, you know something foul is roaming the land.

While the messages coming out of the rightwing for the past day or two in regard to Iraq are ones that liberals have been trying to get across for years now, it does give one pause to consider what the tactic associated with such a turnabout is. The Rs never do anything just because it is the good and proper thing to do. There is always a catch. Are they throwing the neocons overboard? If so, who is waiting to take their place? Are they giving up on Iraq? Does that seem like a reasonable question?

Too much big money is behind the Rs to just make this a simple "I was wrong" admission. Has Big Oil decided trashing our own land for really dirty oil is theirs for the taking? Have they decided the Middle Eastern oil fields can wait until a time when the memory of these oil wars have faded into the past and can be revived for a new generation with more technology and a greater need for energy?

Nothing ever just goes away. It is either put on the shelf or replace with something else.

So when the Fox jumps on the bandwagon, you know something foul is roaming the land. Skidmore Jun 2014 #1
