I don't think the question was actually sexist. While I do think it (unintentionally) came off as perhaps insensitive to Mrs. Barra's personal experiences and such, I would also like to note that he admitted that he asks the same question about himself, i.e. "Am I a good parent?".

Regardless, though, I'm sure Mrs. Barra will make a fine CEO for the U.S.'s most illustrious automaker, IMHO. I wish her the best of luck.
