Many on Fox News even help perpetuate the right-wing talking point that if its not reported on Fox News (or other conservative outlets), its just lies told by the liberal media. Because thats basically the belief of many conservatives. Thats why its nearly impossible to convince them of anything. If Fox News (or other conservative media sources) arent reporting something to them, its not factual. So whenever I use another source to debunk their lies, they dismiss that evidence as fiction because their sources didnt report it.
It kind of reminds me of the recent story concerning Russia Todays reporting of the downed Malaysian airliner.
It seems the Russian-owned news organization has been accused by a now former employee, London-based reporter Sara Firth, of purposefully reporting lies about the Malaysian airline that was recently shot down over Ukraine. This follows a few months ago when news anchor Liz Wahl left the company over disagreements on how they were told to cover the invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces.
See, Russia Today is basically nothing more than another method for the Russian government to try to control the truth. Its a propaganda machine for Vladimir Putin.
Just look at Russia Todays statement regarding the departure of Firth, who left the network because she claimed they were being pushed to report inaccurate information about the plane being shot down by the Ukrainian government:
Doesnt that sound exactly like something Fox News would say to their critics?
