15. Pentagon Papers leaker and now fervent antiwar activist Daniel Ellsberg says

that the country will not truly heal from the wounds of Vietnam until it erects a monument to the anti-war movement on the Mall to complement the highly-moving Vietnam War memorial there.

I guess that was Ellsberg's way of saying we'll never get over the wounds created by the Vietnam War.

I would only add that I think we owe massive reparaatons to the peoples of southeast Asia for what was done there in our collective name. I'm not holding my breath that reparations will happen anytime soon.
