3. I wonder if Verizon wants to move their cell networks more to go through the internet now...

... so that cell phone traffic could be argued to no longer be classified as being carried through traditional "common carrier" links that subject it to those restrictions we already have in place.

I recall when this anti Net Neutrality stuff started to come down a year ago was when I got a cell signal repeater device from Credo so that I could get better Sprint signals on my cell which is bad in the area I lived. It just occurred to me then that either Frontier, or Comcast (if I had them instead of Frontier) could start gouging me for fees for running cell traffic through their internet pipes without net neutrality.

Maybe Verizon sees that as a means to move not only internet traffic but their whole cell network to going through WiFi and other non-cell tower means of transmission, which is why they are at the top of the list here.
