I too am finding ways to make things go on a bit longer, when in the past I would have simply replaced them. Not everything certainly, but I am putting off some purchases, making strategic repairs to things and putting off what would have once been, simply get a new one. At the very least I am looking to time purchases to get the absolute best deal possible and make those things last as long as I can. Right now I am waiting for some glue to dry on a pair of workbooks that I have put back into limited service and awaiting a call on a small part for the lawn mower as examples. We are also scaling back the purchase of annual plants and flowers this year for the gardens and will have fewer pots outside for which to care.

Funny that was my purchase too this year yeoman6987 Mar 2015 #1
