4. Even Salman Rushdie has failed to educate him

Maher has huge blind spots and since he lives on the media cocktail circuit, he's blissfully ignorant about where they are. He is in many ways a very conventional thinker.

However, I do look up New Rules and sometimes even the opening segment on the show. They're diverting and I miss all the bafflegab from idiot right wingers who won't let anyone else get a word in.
