2. I've seen it happen to two friends I never thought could be brainwashed like that.

Family and friends are stepping in to try to deprogram them, but they continue to believe the likes of Beck, Hannity, Rush, et al. These are intelligent people, but it is going to take a long time (or, an eye-opening event) to finally convince them that these clowns cannot be believed. By promoting this garbage, FOX is also a major contributor. I can't imagine how those commentators can sleep at night when they see their propaganda being sucked in by so much of the general public. And, yes! There are more people buying their lies than I ever imagined. If I'm seeing it in my circle of friends/relatives, imagine how many there are across the US.
