3. Wrong... the incentive would be to extend the confrontation. It's called, "overtime."

Now, maybe the 3 for 1 sale at Dunks was gonna be over in 10 minutes and the cop was afraid he was gonna miss it. That would be justifiable reason to shorten the confrontation.
