Do the dead regret having no more days? Death is a puzzle to me. But I think it's only the living who feel good, bad, or indifferent about death.

As for gun owners, I don't know that it's determined who owned the gun. If someone in the house was in Law Enforcement, the gun might be owned by the city or the police force. Nobody's talking about restricting their rights. Police, and to some extent their spouses, get special "courtesy".
