Yes the other candidates are bad, but Trump's ascendancy is dangerous. Even GWB admonished us not to target Muslims, for which I was grateful, even considering the source. Trump, of course, seems to have no filter at all, and he spouts dangerously racist rhetoric.

So I don't care if the real estate developer is still a Republican, and I don't care if his motive was just hating Trump. He did a Good Thing, IMO.
