because they were funny, especially Mildred. She'd smile and melt your heart. It's such a simple story about simple people, like you said. Did they include the part where she wrote to Attorney General Robert Kennedy, and he sent her to the ACLU?

I turned 20 in 1967 and remember this case very well.
