6. The 747 is at end of production life -- only a couple dozen orders and mostly freighters.

It was introduced in '68, almost half a century ago.

At least go with a pair of 777s. By now a lot of the communications gear should be a lot lighter and smaller than previously. Four engines are not needed, since we now have decades of ETOP experience with the twins.
