Not sure what it's like today - I think they're still around - but the late 80s and early 90s were pretty active. They had been around since the 60s with Mod, Rude Boy, and proto-Punk scenes who all listened to the same music (each other's) like Rocksteady, Ska, Raggae, proto-Punk/Punk (which later became hardcore, Oi!, surf-Punk, street-Punk, Rock-a-Billy, Punk-a-Billy, Psycho-Billy and Industrial).

One of my memories, would really make people question their own sanity if they saw it for themselves, was of a bunch of stereo-typical-looking skinheads (Fred Perrys, bomber jackets, Doc Martins, shaved heads) blasting NWA (rap) and moshing (slam-dancing). Truly a conflicting and mind-bending sight to behold to the uninitiated.

Great times.
