If public opinion continues to go against them, they'll simply enact further voter suppression measures. Why do you think Donald continues to claim that millions of people voted illegally?
I fully expect them to enact 50 state voter ID, end all early voting, mandate "modernized" (paperless) voting and implement "authorized poll watchers." When all else fails they'll expand the voter purges.
This is the Republican's '18 and '20 plan to maintain and in some cases expand their hold on power.
