25. It's what white male privilege - white supremacy - looks like.

Nobody tells the white male (especially the rich white male like Trump) that he must be on his best behavior 100% of the time in order to have a full set of human rights or to be considered credible if he is attacked or assaulted. Anyone else? If anyone else is assaulted, raped or behaves badly, they are punished mercilessly. EVEN if they are the victim of white male assault - they are inferior, indefensible. Persons of color or women are not to be believed. They are all bad. Sluts. Thugs. Drug dealers. Rapists. White Male = good, honest, pure. Anything else = Bad, inferior, indefensible, animal, less than human, not credible. It's the epitome of white supremacy and misogyny.

This is THE reason we have a serial sexual predator in the White House. This is THE reason (besides no checks & balances now since this man's white male brethren are in total control and protecting him & their own privilege) we have probably one of the World's biggest crooks and CON men in the White House. This is THE reason that NOTHING Donald J. Trump DOES, or SAYS is prosecutable. He daily breaks laws, ethics rules and violates the constitution and has serially violated the human rights of many women. And what happens to him? NOTHING.

If a person of color, a Latino, Native American, an LGBT person or a woman did ANY of what Trump does (or yes, for that matter a Democrat - although if the Dem was a white male the outrage would still be less strident than if he were not), there would be HELL. TO. PAY. for that person. IMAGINE if Barack Obama did or said ANY of what Trump has done or said or violated the number of laws, rules and parts of the constitution that Trump has. I'm not certain he'd not have been killed. If Barack Obama had done what Bill Clinton did (affair), the outrage would be ENORMOUS - and one HELL of a lot worse than it was when Clinton did it.

White privilege. Misogyny. White Supremacy. The notion that ONLY a person lucky enough to come out of his Mamma white and male has a full set of human rights and is credible. Anyone else does not have such rights and is not credible. This is why women who are raped or sexually assaulted are never believed. They have no credibility. That's not because women lie so much about such things. It's simply because they're not male and they are not afforded the benefit of the doubt that men are. Right off the bat. No matter what happened or what the situation was. SHE won't be believed. SHE will be the defendant, not her attacker (if he was male).

This is the world we live in and this is the attitude of those running the US now. White Americans - specifically white males can do ANYTHING THEY WANT. With utter impunity. NO ONE ELSE has such a full set of human rights. While white males have basic human rights PLUS rights to violate any law they want with utter impunity, everyone ELSE is denied basic human rights and is punished for ANY crime even if that person is the victim - and if (s)he is the perpetrator (s)he is punished MUCH more harshly than if (s)he were a white male.

Here we are. And with a black president and almost a woman president, the white male overclass figured it needed to take back it's dominance and re-assert it's superiority. And so they have. For now. But it won't last. It won't last because Time only moves in ONE direction: forward. Clocks don't move backwards unless forced. So while their insecure, immoral, ignorant, inhumane power and superiority re-assertion campaign has won for now, it won't in the long run. Like oil coal & gas -- like those coal and manufacturing jobs -- this bullshit is on the way OUT. This is their last gasp before we continue to move FORWARD into a more egalitarian, multi-cultural, non-white-male-dominated society.

Meanwhile, we're stuck with this ignorant-ass bullshit. Put on your gas masks. It's gonna be a while, folks.
