11. In terms of recent automotive innovations (most of which are useless), they are actually helpful.

Can't stand stupid things like push button starts being foisted on us as "new and improved" but I have to say the backup cameras are an actual useful innovation.

My parent's house has a narrow driveway that's a pain to back out of, but the cameras make it a much easier experience. Even my dad--who's more adverse to bells and whistles on cars than I am--has said the camera on his new car has been a good thing.
