I am not one to get all "gushy" seeing pic of a president interacting with people. That being said, I am stricken by pics of Pres. O with "the masses", especially children. In politics, lots of things can be faked. But in every pic of the president, I can tell the people around him are enjoying themselves. People, and kids, like this man. When I see those pics, it re-enforces the sense of pride I felt in 2008 when I left the polling station. I mean wow- a black man having a legitimate chance to be president? I choked up a bit just thinking of that possibility, growing up in the tme i did. I felt the country was finally changing. My whole voting life, I voted for the lesser of two evils. I did not feel that way in 2008, and I won't feel that way in 2012.
