2. When I was finally able to get the ACA with subsidies I had to do a lot

of work, investigating, etc. In fact I spent a total of about 200 hours over two years trying to figure out the various plans and regulations as well as sacrificing cheaper insurance and foregoing plans completely. When you are sick you can not do these things. People who are ill just want to feel better as soon as possible and having to do all of this BS again will be too much for me. I live alone and sometimes can't even talk on the phone for more than a few minutes coherently or without crying.

This entire thing is ridiculous and absurd. I worked hard for most of my life as a teacher for a low salary, paid my taxes, etc and now I won't have health care because I was stupid enough to get a painful, costly, and deadly disease that has no cure before I was able to retire with benefits.
