6. I remember swimming in the streets after a hurricane hit

I was 5-6 yrs old...we lived in Alexandria, Louisiana. The coast got hit with the storm, we got floods and it turned the streets into rivers...and a bunch of us kids were swimming in them. Looking back now, good lord how did I not catch some type of horrible disease.
