The problem arises, though, when sane people hear or see something this numbskull has tweeted, and gets the impression that the authorities in England were tipped off but didn't do anything to protect citizens. This leads to anger, confusion, frustration, finger-pointing, and misunderstanding that wastes the time and energy of responsible government officials who have to explain that no, the President of the United States doesn't know what he's tweeting about. Which then leads to second level speculation along the lines of "Or does he?" which wastes a lot more time and energy, because responsible government officials feel constrained not to call the President irresponsible.

So sane people don't have to listen to or believe President Dumbass, but they still have to contend with his bullshit.
