Weinstein is far too liberal for Bannon to have ever agreed to "work with him" on anything substantive in the past. This looks like a benign business deal that didn't pan out. Both scumbags had common interests in news and entertainment media at one time. A brief - almost chance - business overlap isn't really worth emphasizing.
