Still hear more about Moore.

Not so much about Barton, but that only stands to reason given what probably facts we have.

Franken and Conyers, less so, and mostly about official ethics investigations.

However, were it the other way 'round, it would make sense. Moore, not elected official. Mostly a local concern, for now.

Franken and Conyers, heroes to many. Conyers, Congressional leader with not just local importance. Moreover, those allegations are of more recent vintage, while Moore's most egregious violations were over 30 years ago.

What's different is the varying salience each has. We see what's important to us, and feel more perceptibly strikes against us than those against those we dislike. "We" are always more human than "they" are, and that shows up routinely in all sorts of ways.
