They didn’t amplify ANYTHING today.

My understanding is that, in a TV interview, Putin said something positive about Trump’s amazing success in revitalizing the American economy (yeah, I know, it sounds like the kind of auditory hallucination someone high on mushrooms might have if they fell asleep while watching CNBC).

Apparently Trump then called Putin out of the blue to thank him for the wonderful compliments. The Russians didn’t have to amplify anything. It was apparently a throw away line from a TV interview, no big deal.

It’s totally fucking surreal, a bizarre thing for the American President to do (or anyone, really), and completely transparently obvious to anyone not delusional and/or a complete fucking moron that Trump loves Putin (and most genuinely “strong” of authoritarian leaders) and is desperate for his attention & approval in the same way many neglected insecure seven year old boys love their own daddy.

I’ve known very few people in real life — much less from the entertainment industry — who display their issues so blatantly. The sociopathy, the narcissism, the “daddy issues,” the insecurity around women, and on and on.
