That the only businesses that benefit from their vote are the global mega conglomerates. The ultra billionaires? I mean for fucks sake even if all you are looking at is the economy and don’t give much of a shit about the average person, it STILL doesn’t make much sense to vote GOP unless you are among the upper echelon of the business world. Yes I know they have drank the koolaid and vote against their interests,they believe they too could be the next billionaire . But for fucks sake. I’m not even arguing morals here which of course are a separate even larger bag of shit.
I’m fucking angry because even as a non American this is affecting us globally. Things like the net neutrality ruling will have ripple effects. Other nations will follow suite. And when monopolies like Dinsey and others are allowed to grow ever larger it doesn’t just affect the US. These are giant global conglomerates and the lack of competition is felt across the world.
How the fuck does it benefit 99.9% of GOP voters to have zero competition in increasingly large sectors of the business world!? How the fuck does it benefit almost ANY GOP voters to suddenly have to pay 200% more for the same internet service quality they used to have, just because their ISP can now charge them extra for the same services at the same speeds. It makes no fucking sense how anyone but the Bill Gates of the world would WANT to vote for this!?
Conservatives keep talking about the free hand of the market solving everything. How less regulation means more innovation, more competition, means more solutions. Do they even ever fucking look at what they are actually voting for!? It’s the exact fucking opposite you morons! Sure less regulation. But with it MUCH less competition, and MUCH less innovation as nobody can afford to innovate any longer.
This cancer isn’t confined to the US either as I said. Global monopolies hurt all of us. Many of the things the GOP does hurt people around the world, not just in the US. Fuck these scum bags.
