that I've seen, and was shut out completely in several. The fact that Bernie's an independent makes him much more popular here than if he were a partisan Democrat. There are more independents here than Dems and Republicans combined, and independents could register Dem for the caucus. Republicans run our state legislature, but the minority is an Independent/Democrat coalition. Our governor is a Republican turned independent, while the lieutenant governor is a Democrat. Alaska is not as red as it first appears.
