9. Medicare and Medicaid

I've seen statistics that 63% of Medicare monies go to assisted living or nursing homes. What a frightening prospect for millions of people, me included. People save all their lives and then that money goes poof in the last few years of their life until they are broke and then Medicaid pays.

Oh, and don't forget about the billions and billions for increased "defense" spending.
