Kelly knows Drumpf is delusional in his hate for brown people, so told him a lie he'd go for in a NY minute because it fits his preconceptions so well. Lie being told to get Drumpf to stop saying Mexico would pay for the wall, when he truly never believed this for one second and it's just a convenient lie for his base.
