12. The "life of the mother" exception is toxic

By also creating the "doctor's go to jail for 99 years" piece to this law, even when it's a high risk pregnancy, very few doctors are going to put their careers and lives at risk to have their medical judgment reviewed by a prosecutor and questioned. Because if they are considered "wrong" because of "chromosomes or whatever" than their career is over and they agre going to jail.

So that there are "exceptions" is complete nonsense.
