Company clears early hurdle for Alaska oil project

1. A 17.6% interest in the company is held by the government of Papua New Guinea

as of 2006 it was responsible for 13% of Papua New Guinea's gross domestic product. I believe that there should be a national oil subsidy paid to every US family for oil pumped in any state, like Alaskans get. We are letting corporations, many foreign, steal our national resources without any real compensation.
