17. Deep Fakes require a source video, so I believe they could be forensically detected.

Likely, though, not until after any damage has been done.

What worries me is this will allow people to retroactively have a Deep Fake of their own damaging video created as cover. If a celebrity has a sex tape, they can say "look there's a fake one so how do you know any of them are real?" Sort of how Trump salts the field by calling everything fake news.

We're basically going to get to the Orwellian point where having video of a crime is inadmissible; "Reject the evidence of your eyes and ears."
