The tweet is from a reporter for LoHud, a local paper:

Earlier, there was a report that someone had gotten the attacker's license plate number/vehicle description. The police may have picked up the car when the toll was paid to cross the Hudson into NYC. If vehicle had an automated toll pass, that would have provided a name/address.
