All they need to do is OD them on fentanyl, there is plenty of that stuff from China and they'd be happy to supply it.

They're just terrified somebody might get a nanosecond of "whee!" before lights out.

State sanctioned murder is barbaric and should be stopped, altogether. If the vengeful and bloodthirsty sadists are going to insist on it in some of the more primitive states, they should use whatis both widely available and works efficiently. Fentanyl would work very well.
