Once you've had the kids, it is pretty fucking cruel to the kids to say you wish you didn't have them. The kids didn't ask to be born. Once born, they want and need to be loved. And a parent owes a duty to love and care for them. To say to those kids and the world that you don't want them is pretty devastating to the kids.

I can't imagine what else this father could say to the reporters but that he was happy. At least his wife and kids were alive, for now.
