There are nothing but a bunch of fucking RW loons running on the GOP side so we just need to make sure to get the turnout machine going to get him in and break another precedent (Wolf's original election where he beat Corbett, broke a precedent).

He opted to go with this race vs the Senate race, which definitely gave him a boost and, as the Philly Inquirer noted in an article earlier this week, allowed him "clear the field".

He worked his way up to that position (and within the political world) in terms of not only experience at the federal level as an aide, but through interactions with "grassroots" organizations, starting early in his political career. And his appearances on TV have definitely helped make him a "national" figure.
