I'll admit that I'm stupid about cryptocurrency, but I do know that somewhere a bank is holding the funds that paid for the crypto. Otherwise it's completely worthless. North Korea managed to hack and steal the crypto-data but it's still not real money. Unless they stole it from a bank, then it's real.

You're probably laughing at me now, because I really don't understand this. I only know that it's a pyramid scheme, and the people who bought the crypto paid real money for it. They're the real victims.
