(6,513 posts)How do we know that Bragg isn't going for that felony charge?
So, they haven't filed the charges yet. If all they file are misdemeanor charges, is Trump required to be there? I can't remember how it went with Bannon. I know that he eventually showed up in court and they gave him bail for the appeal. I expect Trump's will go the same way. I just can't remember how that went.
The cops are getting the heads up. To me, this is prep for an indictment filing. But, I don't remember today how that goes. Indictment means they can arrest him immediately, doesn't it? So, if he is there, the judge can let him go home, or throw him in jail until his lawyers work it out?
I seem to remember that Bannon was in cuffs for like five seconds. If he doesn't show up, do his lawyers get to negotiate for a future surrender?
I want one lousy picture of this bastard in cuffs. Please, just at least one...
I think that he is getting indicted. It won't be like one of us getting a traffic ticket, where we promise to show up in 30 days, right?
