The reason that idiot Ford is so pissed, is because he feels 'attacked' but yet won't give any actual denials (he gives carefully parsed non-denial denials...) Plus, he acts like he can get away with anything because he's a conservative - he's also a bully. This is a guy who has no sense of humour (one of our much-loved news parody shows accosted him - as they've done to nearly every other politician in Canada - and he's the only one who freaked out and became an total asshole), he badmouths the media constantly for, um, doing their job, he has tantrums in public if things don't go his way...need I go on? Your typical entitled conservative whiner is what he is.

There have been rumours swirling around about Ford and his substance abuse for some time now. His denials are always phrased in such a way (and usually with such defiance and arrogance) that I'll eat my hat if they aren't eventually proven to be true. And he never answers questions, but he attacks others. It's their fault, everyone else is the bad guy, why are you picking on me, wahhh. The way the family circles the wagon is also textbook dysfunctional family protocol. They refused to give any definitive answers and instead went on the attack. So very textbook...

The media has probed into these allegations as they are supposed to. They haven't gone overboard - the Fords have provided PLENTY of material for journalists to start examining. When these allegations first came out, there was nothing but silence on Ford's part (oh, sorry, he sent out his brother first...). He ignored them for the better part of a week. Suddenly, around the same time Gawker was saying they lost contact with the owners of the video, Ford comes out all defiant. Listen to his press conference and the tone of his voice. I have no doubt he had a little talk with his 'friends' that had the video. Some people may call that tinfoil-hat-ish, but I assert that Rob Ford has all the airs of a corrupt sociopath (when you've been married to one, you can spot them a mile away). If I were those drug dealers, I'd be worried about being suicided.

I also find it ironic the Fords blasted the media while ON THEIR VERY OWN RADIO SHOW. Much like Fox and Rush whining about the media. Duh, you ARE IT.

Rob Ford is a huge embarrassment to the big TO. I wish they'd turf him quickly.
