30. Spend more time with a history book

When a regions is continually invaded and plundered(as the middle east has been since the rise of Catholic Europe, followed by the discovery of oil and occupation by France, England and now America) the people of that region are going to radicalize against the occupiers.

The middle east was controlled by the Ottoman empire from about the 15th century until 1920. Before that, other Muslim empires, all the way back to the 8th century. The British and the French on controlled it for 30 years. "continually plundered and invaded" my ass. Oh, if you want to talk about the crusades, the Muslims were killing and "plundering" in Europe at the time. check it out in a "history book."

Maybe Turkey, a Muslim country, should do the repaying for the 500 years they controlled the region, or the other Muslim empires for the 700 years before that.

Egypt is a different story, but the the British were only there for 100 years, and only for the Suez canal, which they paid to build.

The west could easily end this by repaying the Middle Eastern nations for the value of the plunder taken since ancient times

I don't know if you heard, but there's this thing called OPEC, and they set their own prices, and their prices caused a thing called an "oil shock" during the 70's. If we were controlling everything, why fuck ourselves like that?
