36. Gold coins will never lose all their value

Base metal coins will lose all of their value, as can be attested by any number of failed currencies, like the Zimbabwe dollar, or most of the pre-Euro currencies. However, the complete loss of gold's value has never happened, in the 1000s of years that gold has served as a monetary medium.

However, if your walnuts are rotten, then what do you do?
