I've heard callers suggest that all Democrats needed to be killed, and the local host would just say "now, now" about it, then end the call with something like, "I understand your feelings, though, so thanks for the call Billy Bob! You're a true patriot!"

That sort of thing was happening YEARS ago, even before Obama was President. And I'd wonder how it was even allowed on the radio?!
