I am a bit flummoxed by this article. The main issues can be boiled down to a few things: the corporate owned media, which has put profits and ratings/clicks over truth. The owners of main stream media are also oligarchs who care more about keeping their tax cuts and ad revenue then doing their job, which is to keep people informed so we can make decisions on our own. They would rather haul in the cash, hence the both-siderism b. s., and the horse race coverage of political campaigns. The other main issue is that the GQP is full of people who are misogynistic sexists, racist, classist, xenophobic homophobes who are perfectly fine with violent attacks o any person or group they don't like. Those of us who tried to point all of this out were branded as hysterical, shrill, misinformed, over the top, etc. We are in for a long fight. Those of us who tried to warn you, were right.
