12. We HAVE TO STOP privatized prisons. By its very nature, a corporation making a PROFIT

on each prisoner is, in itself, an incentive to KEEP PEOPLE THERE longer, by making up reasons to deny parole or early release. AND they don't feed the prisoners properly. One prisoner I knew didn't get ANY fresh vegetables in 6 years. There was never enough food to eat at dinner time, and they came away hungry, or were hungry again within the hour.

That, alone, is wrong. Then you throw in the deranged atrocities that are committed on the prisoners, and you have a very sick system. Hell, they can hardly even get the books they want to read!
